Engaging Activities:

There's a lot going on these days, what with school closures, and social distancing, and toilet-paper conundrums. It's heavy stuff. It's worrisome stuff. And it's stuff that we're all experiencing right along with Aiden Tyler, the title character in author Rex Ogle's (Free Lunch) new & original real-time story, AIDEN TYLER, QUARAN-TEEN.

Tune in every Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET to catch the latest in Aiden's quaran-teen'ed story! TODAY, you'll get to meet Aiden and hear the first 3 chapters of his story. Then, stick around after the reading for a Q&A with Rex. This is the perfect virtual get-away for students and educators looking for a fun and relatable escape from their own quarantines!

About Mrs. Wilson, School Library Media Specialist:

This is my third year at Northview, an IB World School.  I enjoy collaborating with teachers in our school on various projects, organizing our annual Comic Con, working with my awesome Battle of the Books team, and working on our School Improvement team.  I have a BS in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, Teaching License from UNC Charlotte, and a Master's in Library Science from Appalachian State University.  I am also an Apple Certified Mac Technician and Apple Teacher.  I enjoy reading (of course), hiking, canoeing or kyaking, and spending time with my family.
